Teaching Philosophy & Studio Policies
Teaching Philosophy
I believe that every piano student holds within them a musician and an artist, and it is my role—together with the student—to uncover and nurture that potential. I approach teaching as a collaborative journey, where I act as a facilitator and guide, helping each student grow not only musically but as a whole person. My teaching is rooted in a holistic perspective that values the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions of each student.
Music, for me, is not just a goal but a powerful medium for self-expression, emotional well-being, and personal transformation. I recognize that each student is wonderfully unique, with different strengths, learning styles, and paces. Therefore, my instruction is always tailored to the individual, fostering a safe, joyful, and supportive environment for growth.
Age is never a limitation. Whether a student is just beginning or returning later in life, every moment is the perfect moment to begin the musical journey.
For young learners especially, I deeply value the partnership between teacher, student, and parent. Active parental involvement plays a crucial role in the development of young musicians, reinforcing practice habits, encouraging consistency, and helping the child feel supported every step of the way.

We welcome learners of all ages and backgrounds, recognizing that it is never too early or too late to begin the joyful, transformative journey of making music.
